Lake Oahe Salmon Fishing

Lake Oahe Salmon Fishing Has Never Been Better!

The salmon population in Lake Oahe is thriving, providing ample opportunities to hook and battle these powerful, great-tasting fish. With the latest Lowrance technology and proven modern salmon techniques, our guided salmon trips on the Lake Oahe are designed to be as productive and enjoyable as possible. For the best action, we recommend booking your salmon trip between mid-May and mid-September.

2026 Rates:

 7‑Hour Guided Salmon Trips

  • 1 or 2 anglers: $650*
  • 3 anglers: $750*

*Does not include South Dakota State Sales and Tourism Tax

Note:

We recommend two anglers per boat for our guided salmon trips, though we can accommodate three anglers if needed. Large groups are welcome - we have multiple boats available to ensure everyone enjoys Lake Oahe salmon fishing comfortably. Each day of salmon fishing begins with a launch approximately 30 minutes before sunrise. A $200 deposit is required to confirm the booking of requested date(s). This deposit is nonrefundable if cancellation occurs within 14 days of the scheduled trip. This deposit also serves as an agreement for the waiver of release of liability.
